MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS RUN

Thank you for your interest in our 2012 “MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS” Charity Run.
The run will start as usual from the Hereford Leisure Centre which is well sign posted into the North of the Town (HR4 9UD). There is a restaurant at the leisure centre where you can get light refreshments or a Full English breakfast, also a Texaco Petrol station by the start.
The Club was formed in 1981, and although the Cars themselves are the heart of the Club, we are a very social group, and new members are welcomed and integrate very quickly into the friendly and informal Club society.
Although membership levels do fluctuate we generally have a membership of 50 or so ‘Cars’, each having 1 or 2 people with them.
For £10 a year members get 11 Club Nights, at Leominster Golf Club, first Monday in the month at 7:30pm (except January). A monthly Newsletter, featuring reports from shows and runs , committee news, and future events, and an annual Club B-B-Q.
Club Members can enjoy a very active social life, however there is a very high technical ability in the Club, if you need to know how to do something, we have enough engineers, mechanics and skilled members to help you. Many, many members have rebuilt not one, but several MG’s.
We always have a full calendar of runs, incorporating some old favorites and some new every year into the programm, and living in a rural area there are a whole range of Shows we can attend. From the large agricultural based shows to local town and village affairs. On the social side we have Club quizzes, B-B-Q, and also for the talented we hold annual Great Egg Race type challenges.
